Segovia is a city and a Spanish municipality in the southern part of the autonomous community of Castilla y León, capital of the province of the same name. It is situated at the confluence of the Eresma and Clamores rivers, at the foot of the Guadarrama mountain range. The old city and the aqueduct of Segovia were declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1985.

Aqueduct

It was built to drive to Segovia the water of the Sierra.

Alcazar

Is a unique castle with the appearance of a fairytale palace.

Cathedral

It was built in honor of the patron saint of the city in the early s. XVII.

It´s a restaurant next to the aqueduct. Is the most common in Segovia. All the people from Segovia (segovianos), will recomend you.

Casa Duque

They are suckling pig specialists.

Restaurante José María

It is a very good resturant, the food is delicious.

GASTRONOMY:

The roasted suckling pig (Cochinillo de Segovia)

Is one of the Segovian specialties. Is like a little pig.

Cocido de judiones de la Granja

This recipe has everything you need to be a unique dish.

Los chorizos de Cantimpalos

Very popular in Segovia, it´s the best inlay ever.
